Title: Peanut Brittle Crispies

1 1/3 cPillsbury's Best All Purpose
: Flour* -- sifted
1/2 ts soda
1/4 ts salt
1/2 cbutter
1/4 csugar
 1egg -- unbeaten
 1 cfinely crushed peanut
: brittle (about 1/3lb

BAKE at 375 degrees for 9 to 12 minutes. MAKES about 2 1/2 dozen cookies Sift together the flour, soda, and salt. Cream butter. Add sugar,creaming well. Blend in egg. Add dry ingredients gradually; mix well. STir in peanut brittle. Shape dough into balls, using a rounded teaspoonful for each. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake in moderate oven (375 degrees) 9 to 12 minutes. Cool 1 minutes. Remove from sheet. *For use with Pillsbury's Best Self-Rising Flour, omit soda and salt.
